Being one of the little people - Sara Streeter

I met Sara at the registration desk when she came by with some questions. She is putting together a NewBCamp for Providence in February 2008. She is on Twitter, on MeetUp, and her blog: Being One of the Little People. I get the distinct impression that she won't be one of the "little people" for long!

She did not have a business card but took time to carefully write out a handcrafted set of contact info on a folder yellow stickie note. Way to go, Sara!

Hey Steve,
Thanks for your blurb on NewBCamp - and little people can make a difference too!
I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to come to PodCamp and join in the conversation about social media - it was an eye-opener for this newbie.

I am glad to have met you and helped in opening your eyes, Sara. The new media or social media is only a tool to bring people together. It is not a being unto itself. It only works for the people if when the people get together (like we did recently) we can successfully share and learn and grow.
