Corporate Blogging - Sher Taton

Sher Taton has started a blog.

"The postings on this site are my own and don’t necessarily represent IBM’s positions, strategies or opinions." A career in corporate Marketing has landed me in a place where I have "drunk the koolaid" and believe that blogging and a lot of the new tools like RSS etc. are going to change the face of marketing. I'm creating this blog to exchange ideas on the new age of marketing.

She says of herself:
My career to date has been spent in corporate marketing with corporations from Texas Instruments (Corporate Marcom) and Continental/General Tire (Marketing Manger - Mexico and US Director of Advertising)to IBM where I have been the last 7+ years. I currently work in Corporate Interactive Marketing where I produce the global On Demand Business sites www.ibm.com/ondemand I have also been appointed the Marketing Communications lead across the company on blogging. (Perhaps to keep me so busy that I would stop talking about blogging) but it hasn't worked. I'm more stoked than ever. Outside of work, my passion is my daughter, a poodle and a large garden which may be more obsession than passion. I've been blogging inside IBM and have now decided to try blogging outside. My passion may lie more in corporate blog strategy and producing other's blogs than doing my own... we will see
